NORIVAL (Mood Energizer)120 caps

Norepinephrine Dopamine Neurotransmitter Energy Stimulant

Contains N-acetyl-L-Tyrosine (300 mg) and Pyridoxyl 5’ Phosphate (10 mg)

Common Uses: This acetylated form of Tyrosine is converted in one step called hydroxylation into Dopamine and one more step into Norepinephrine to make up two of the most essential neurotransmitters in the brain and peripheral nervous system. Your body will make Biopterin and it serves as the co-factor to tyrosine hydroxylase and other enzymes involved in catecholamine biosynthesis.
Instructions/How to Use: Suggested Use: 1 to 2 caps per day
Ingredients: Description: Ingredients: N-acetyl-l-Tyrosine 300 mg pyridoxyl 5 phosphate 10 mg. Inactive Ingredients: cellulose magnesium silicate magnesium stearate silicon dioxide

Depression is thought to be associated with a decrease in catecholamines such as norepinephrine. This decrease may be due to a deficiency in the precursor tyrosine. A double-blind, placebo-controlled study using  tyrosine treatment for depression found it to be of benefit in a majority of patients. Furthermore, the beneficial effects of tyrosine are felt after 1 week, as opposed to 4-6 weeks usually needed for tricyclics. The specially designed acetylated form of tyrosine is preferred for its rapid absorption and high bioavailability. Tyrosine is also essential in the biosynthesis of thyroid hormones, coenzyme Q and melanin, and may be effective in diseases related to their synthesis.
