URIDINE MITOCHONDRIAL  60 capsules $24.95

Common Uses: URIDINE (Triacetyluridine) Uridine is a nucleoside that is formed when uracil is attached to a ribose ring. Uridine has a crucial influence on important physiologic processes in the human body and is essential for both RNA and DNA synthesis. While uridine is not found in high levels in any particular food, it is an important component of human breast milk. TAU is rapidly converted to uridine in the cell and escapes acid hydrolysis in the gut.

Uridine is a biological compound essential for the synthesis of RNA and numerous other factors essential for cell metabolism. This neuroactive cyclic nucleoside may have applications in bi-polar disorders, endogenous depression and panic attacks. Uridine is also a mitochondrial catalyst, which is useful for the one condition that effects both caregivers and patients alike – fatigue.

Uridine (triacetyluridine) will boost mitochondrial energy production, mitochondriogenesis, and mitochondrial protection from free radicals and extension of mitochondrial life span.

URIDINE IS PARTICULARLY USEFUL FOR SLOW ACETLATORS, WHERE URIDINE 300 MEMORY CAN NOT BE RAPIDLY CONVERTED AND ACTIVATED.

Uridine (Triacetyluridine) Uridine is a biological compound essential for the synthesis of RNA and numerous other factors essential for cell metabolism. In human physiology, this neuroactive cyclic nucleoside may have important applications in one’s mood and temperament. According to studies on endogenous depression and bipolar illness conducted at McLean Hospital, a combination of uridine (TAU) and high dose fish oils were effective in both conditions. Use of these physiologic agents leads to a greater safety profile in patients with both reactive and endogenous depression, as measured by Beck’s Depression Rating Scale. Moreover, a large subset of patients with bipolar illness experienced a significant improvement in their condition. 300 mg ● 60 caps 25 mg ● 60 Caps These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Uridine 300 (Uridine -5’- Monophosphate) Uridine-5’-Monophosphate (UMP), choline and omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA are precursors to the fatty molecules that make up cell membranes. In human physiology, these three elements may have an effect on synapse. Clinical studies have shown that these three elements may be useful in patients with the synaptic loss that characterizes Alzheimer's disease, or other neurodegenerative diseases, or which occurs after stroke or brain injury.
